Dan Katz Tries His Hand At "Jeopardy!" Tonight

Puzzlers may recognize the name Dan Katz. So, too, may "Jeopardy!" fans, as twenty years ago there was a five-time champion by the same name. Well, the Dan Katz who placed second in the B division in 2009 (losing to that Dan Feyer guy) is going to be on "Jeopardy!" this evening. Puzzlers have the first chance to root on one of their own since Stella Zawistowski was on a few years ago.

Katz placed 18th in his most recent ACPT, in 2009.

Dan had a pretty good game, but Kyle Hutchinson had an even better one. $2000 consolation prize for Dan.

Thanks for the shout-out! Hopefully I'll make it back to an ACPT soon... since I changed jobs and home states, the trip has become significantly less trivial.
